This year marks a milestone - Val Boeredag is celebrating its 30th anniversary. Dick Kerslake had the same initial idea to hold a Boeredag
throughout Val to provide demonstrations of the latest agricultural equipment. He felt it was important for farmers to see how the equipment works in conditions similar to their own, and to be able to exchange different products with each other. Kerslake and members of Waterval-boerevereniging with agri businesses in the area to discuss the ideas and enlist the support of various companies and local farmers.

he kykNET Outdoor Expo has been very successfully presented since 2011 in the Western Cape (Môreson Farm, Malmesbury) and in Limpopo (Sondela Nature Reserve & Spa, Bela Bela) as well as more recently in the Southern Cape (ATKV Hartenbos).
It is primarily an outdoor product expo that showcases the very latest products in the 4x4, camping and outdoor industry and is presented in a format for the whole family, young and old. Exhibitors display their products as they would be used in real life in a safe farm atmosphere and there are many exciting
activities on offer at this event - whether you are 8 or 80!
Children's entertainment, amusement park, 4x4 and adrenaline experiences with experienced drivers from top brands, braai competitions, helicopter rides, performing artists, festival food, wine garden, beer garden and bars
